SPONSOR: Reach UK Skiers, Riders At Birmingham Ski And Board Show

Resorts and tour operators looking to maintain or increase their share of the British winter sports market may do well to go and speak directly to it.

Operators of The Daily Telegraph British Ski and Board Show, Oct. 30 through Nov. 1 in Birmingham, England, reporting renewed interest for this year's event, following the success of last year's show, which drew 23,000 visitors. Global Snow Shows is the producer.

Crystal Holidays, the U.K's biggest ski tour operator, has moved back in to the live "face to face" marketing arena by signing up to exhibit at the show, perhaps making a statement in a year when reaching a core market has more significance than most.

"We think attending this event will produce an excellent return on investment" said Crystal's Marion Telsnig.

The show has the support of the national newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, and initiatives involving British ski clubs and regional promotions. Resorts from around the world will be represented, along with retailers and other ski and snowboard specialists. Exciting ski aerial displays and interactive exhibits will be part of the action, as well. Visitors are able to get a taste of the forthcoming winter season. Onthesnow.co.uk will be an exhibitor.
