The new Tamarack resort reaped a windfall of good publicity last month when President George W. Bush chose to visit on his Idaho holiday.

However, here's a heads-up for any other owners who may benefit from such a stopover. Be fit and lean.

While riding his resort's trails along with the First Mountain Biker, Jean Pierre Boespflug told reporters, "He gave me a backhanded compliment. He said, 'you're a good rider, Jean-Pierre, for someone with a potbelly.'"
